WISE Art Evening

Hey there, I arrived in England just two months ago to live here as an Au Pair. During this time, I took WISE classes which were completely online which made them super accessible. Sadly because of the current situation and only online classes it is tricky to actually meet new people and chat to them. Therefore, I was very pleased when I heard that WISE was hosting a social art evening to meet other students and have a bit of a change in the lockdown routine. Yesterday, I participated in the Social evening with the topic art. There was only a few of us and lovely Amanda was hosting it. I had a really relaxed, fun evening with great conversations and in the end even my own version of Van Gogh’s "Sunflower" painting. Shoutout to WISE, who provided the evening for free to the students. Amanda did a really good job and it was easy to follow. So also a really nice idea for students who aren't that artsy or want to get into it ;) Nice atmosphere, good conversations, glass of wine or tea and some painting. Learning some new stuff and getting to know new people. Overall a great evening and if there is a social evening with art again, I can really recommend joining in. It's a lot of fun! Xx
